The ritual of shaving with a straight razor, a treat men enjoy so publicly, is here gifted to a woman. As her legs are being shaved by a man who appears submissive and physically smaller then her, the heroine enjoys herself unapologetically. Savoy was commissioned by the Tel Aviv Museum of Art as part of the exhibition Recovery Plan: Join or Die, curated by Doron Rabina.
