The Perfect Lover

This fiction podcast is a series of interviews with professionals, in this case the guest is a Perfect Lover. Through the familiar format, leaning on the banal aesthetic of two male voices talking about how to accomplish a desired outcome, unfolds the character of the interviewee, James.

The man, it turns out, isn’t quite ordinary. He isn’t exactly a man even, for he can flip gender, does not have a fixed sexual orientation, and in order to become a good partner, gives up any kind defined personality. What appears to be a formal interview contains detailed descriptions of intimacy, views on sexuality and gender, childhood memories, empathy and the personal experience of being out of the ordinary.
